Moments ago, for what I have figured is something like only the second time in my life, I asked an actual girl on an actual date. It was not even that hard, apart from trying to not spontaneously combust before I actually asked her.

It is scheduled for "sometime next week." If she flees the country between now and then, I guess that will mean she was only being nice.
