My life in the noble cause/my life in the war machine

I was going to write something personal and reflective in here tonight, but screw it -- no one really needs to know anyway.

oh...but wait....you had such a good title. I was looking forward to seeing what you were going to say.

It reminded me of an essay I wrote called "The experience machine."

I NEED TO KNOW!!!!

HA...that's 4 people who NEED, not WANT, to know. And we all know need is stronger than want. Or more important? Or something?

Oh man...10 hours of paper writing over the last 2 days has killed me.

hmmmm! It is nice to be needed (or to have your words be needed? or something?), but I don't even remember what I was going to write now, actually.
It was something probably mopey, though. And no matter what you all believe, I fail to see how mopey writings (especially half-coherent ones) are what you all NEED. It is certinally not what the Internet needs. The Internet is already stuffed full of them (well, livejournal is at least) and I am afraid that one more mopey thought could cause it to collapse with despair.

So . . . BUTTERFLIES!

it is true proof of your readership that you still get tons of comments even when you have a non-post. my friends would be so envious...

3 things...all having to do with your comic strip:

1- The robot story made me sad.

2- The air bud one with the press conference...the last frame was hilarious.

3- The last air bud comic, the second to last frame, one of the army guys looks like he's dancing.

That is all.

but that doesn't mean the internet (or rather all of us) doesn't need a good dose of you! or butterflies for that matter.

thanks for the support, all! I would have responded sooner, but my computer bleeped out.
Regarding Grant's comments about the comic:
1. it makes me sad, too! I think it is supposed to. robots are sad little creatures! Sometimes, humans are, too.
2. I'm glad you liked the Air Bud jokes. I think they're funny, but I don't know if anyone really does.
3. You're right!!
